LOS ANGELES: Brad Pitt has signed up with Australian film-maker Andrew Dominik, to help get his long-delayed biopic on Marilyn Monroe off the ground.
Titled ‘Blonde’ the film’s shooting began in January 2011, with australian actress Naomi Watts in the lead, before it was stalled. Pitt is to produce the movie through his banner – Plan B productions. Reports speculate, that he himself might also be cast in the movie.
"We’re going to get this one done," quoted the 48 year old to the Sydney Morning Herald. Pitt has previously worked with Dominik on ‘The Assassination of Jesse James’ by the Coward Robert Ford and gangster thriller ‘Killing Them Softly’ which was in competition for the Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
