MUMBAI: Fox Searchlight Pictures has appointed David Greenbaum as senior vice president of production.
He will report to Fox Searchlight Pictures president of production Claudia Lewis. Prior to this, Greenbaum was with Miramax Films as vice president of production and development.
“It was important to me to find someone who shares our strong commitment to independent filmmaking and unique cinematic expression. David’s intelligence and his passion for original and imaginative filmmakers makes for a perfect fit and we are proud to welcome him to Searchlight,” said Lewis.
Greenbaum added, “I am thrilled to be joining the Searchlight team and contributing to the studio’s great tradition of filmmaking and storytelling.”
Greenbaum has overseen the development and production of numerous projects including the upcoming The Debt starring Helen Mirren and directed by John Madden.
