Harry Potter’s Radcliffe at Madame Tussauds

MUMBAI: At 17, Brit actor Daniel Radcliffe of Harry Potter fame has become the youngest actor to be immortalised in wax at the Madame Tussauds museum.

Radcliffe’s wax figure, which was unveiled today, will stand alongside Hollywood legends such as Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts and Indian film actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Bachchan.

The Harry Potter star Radcliffe turns 18 next month in August and has several films, television and stage productions under his belt.

Apart from the Harry Potter movies, Radcliffe has been seen on the big screen in films like the Tailor of Panama and TV dramas such as Dickens classic David Copperfield and Extras. He has also done a stage play Equus.

The wax figure of Radcliffe sports a stubble and is dressed in a dark suit and tie. The unveiling of his wax figure comes just ahead of the UK premiere of his latest movie Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
