MUMBAI: Michael Jackson’s Michael Album Artwork has been confirmed as the world’s largest poster by Guinness World Records.

The 29,070 ft² poster (171ft x 170ft) was erected to mark the release of Michael, smashing the previous record, set at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, by more than 110 ft².

Made of PVC and weighing one ton, the poster  took engineers three hours to install – and is less than 3,000 meters from one of Heathrow’s main runways, literally viewable by all planes arriving/departing. The poster  will stay at what will be known as Michael’s Field until 23 December, 2010.
