MUMBAI: Xbox 360 Arcade will soon see an increase in price. Microsoft has issued official notice to UK retail to increase the recommended retail price of the Xbox 360 Arcade in the UK.
The price is being hiked from the current £129.99 up to approximately £159.99.
Microsoft is preparing to kill off the 60GB Xbox 360, bringing the price of the Xbox 360 Elite down and possibly making the bog standard Arcade model pricier. Xbox 360 Premium will be replaced by a cheaper 120GB packing Xbox 360 Elite.
However the five XBLA games previously part of the bundle will no longer be included.
Whether this is a serious move to increase revenue by Microsoft or perhaps the release of a new enhanced, Xbox 360 Arcade is yet to be seen.
