Mumbai: Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has promoted Jack Talley to Senior Vice President, Retail Expansion. The announcement was made by Senior Executive Vice President North America Marshall Forster to whom Talley reports.
In his new role, Talley will be responsible for overseeing two important sales areas including the retail expansion team and the newly launched Signature sales team. In addition, Talley will oversee SPHE’s Special Market sales activity.
In making the announcement, Forster stated, "Jack’s well honed leadership abilities has allowed us to strategically pursue more non-traditional selling channels as well as unique business partnerships, and he will continue to play a key role in the integration and sales optimization of other third-party partners."
Talley is a 26-year veteran of the home entertainment industry. Prior to joining SPHE, Talley oversaw MGM’s Grocery and Drug sales division and played an integral role in the strategic development and implementation of the Scan Based Trading business model. Talley’s work experiences also have included Best Video, ETD, Sound Video, Media Home Entertainment, and Celebrity Home Entertainment. Talley has a BBA from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from the University of North Texas.
