Star appoints David Radoczy as chief technology officer

Mumbai: Star has appointed David Radoczy as its chief technology
officer. Radoczy, who joins Star from Nine Network Australia, succeeds
Dr. Guo Xiao Yong who has decided to leave Star for personal reasons.

Reporting to Star chief operating officer Laureen Ong, Radoczy is
scheduled to join Star in November.

Radoczy will be responsible for overseeing Star’s technical and
engineering departments. He will lead the team in its pursuit of
offering the highest quality broadcast services as the company
continues on its growth trajectory in Asia and beyond.

Ong said, "David has had a notable career that has seen him involved
in subscription and free-to-air television for over 20 years. He has
held various operational and management positions across a range of
television disciplines, allowing him to develop a unique set of skills
and experience that make him perfectly suited to lead our Operations
and Engineering teams. Over the last four and a half years, Dr. Guo
has made a number of contributions to the development of Star’s
operations. We’d like to thank him for his service and wish him all
the best in his future endeavors."
