MUMBAI: Star and KyLinTV have tied up to launch three top-notch Mandarin-language channels in North America on KyLinTV’s IPTV platform.
Beginning 1 December, Star Chinese Channel, the entertainment channel in Taiwan, will debut on KyLinTV’s premium package. Star Chinese Channel showcases programming in a wide range of genres including talk shows, game shows, contemporary and costume drama series, lifestyle and variety shows. Signature programs include the self-produced award-winning game show Bingo Pool, chat show Gossip Queen and game show Lucky Star.
In the coming months, Channel [V] Taiwan, the number one rated music channel in Taiwan, and a channel dedicated to featuring classic Chinese movies, will join Star Chinese Channel on KyLinTV.

Channel [V] Taiwan featured original youth programs such as Lollipop and Blackie’s Teenage Club, both of which have become popular amongst the Chinese youth across Asia. The music channel also hosts outdoor concerts, including [V] Power, which showcases some of Asia’s hottest stars performing live. It also offers the music videos and interviews with pop stars in shows such as [V] My Guest and Chinese Top 20.
