MUMBAI: Michelle Parker has been promoted to senior vice president of business and legal affairs, distribution for Starz Entertainment.
Parker was most recently vice president of business and legal affairs, distribution, a position which she was promoted to in April 2008.
Parker acts as the lead attorney for all new media and technology matters for the Starz Entertainment pay television business and Starz Media. This role includes business affairs support for programming acquisitions and distribution arrangements for the Starz pay television channels and services, acting as the digital privacy officer for Starz, and leading business affairs support for Starz Digital Media’s activities, including domestic and international digital distribution. Parker also leads business affairs support for Starz Media’s growing domestic and international television distribution businesses.

Parker joined Starz Entertainment in 2005 as executive director, business affairs, programming, and was previously executive director, business & legal affairs for Sony Pictures Entertainment.
