MUMBAI: UTV Motion Picture’s third Hollywood venture The Happening directed by M Night Shyamalan has grossed $ 150 million at the worldwide box office so far.
The film, which was made on a budget of $ 57 million.
The Happening, which is co-produced by UTV Motion Pictures and 20th century Fox, released on 13 July. The movie opened in Japan on 27 July and grossed $6.1 million in the opening week.
The movie stars stars Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel, John Leguizamo and Spencer Breslin.
