Warner Bros inks VOD deal with BT Vision for WarnerFilms

MUMBAI: Warner Bros. has inked a deal with BT Vision to be the first UK partner on its new branded subscription-based VOD service called WarnerFilms.

The service has priced at $7.60 per month with existing access fee and will offer consumers movies like GoodFellas, Zodiac and Training Day.

WarnerFilms will offer access to 28 movies a week with seven new films being added every week. Warner already operates the WarnerTV SVOD service in the UK on BT Vision, Virgin Media, Top Up TV, Talk Talk TV and 3.

“Back in 2007, BT Vision was one of the founding partners for our WarnerTV SVOD service, so it’s fitting that three years later we’re working with them again on the U.K. launch of WarnerFilms. This exciting new service gives consumers another way to access our world-class content at the touch of a button, 24 hours a day," said Warner Bros. International Branded Services executive vice president of business management Malcolm Dudley-Smith.
