Kavita Krishnamurti performs in Delhi

MUMBAI: Singer Kavita Krishnamurti performed recently at the Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi at an event organised by the Circle of Animal Lovers.
 
Krishnamurti sangs songs several numbers from Hindi films including ‘Om Namashivaya’ from the film Bhairavi and her all time favorite ‘Pyar Hua Chupke Se’ from 1942 -A love Story, as well as ‘Humpe Ye Kisne Hara Rang Dala’ from Devdas, ‘Tumhari Adavon Pe Main Vari Vari’ from Mangal Pandey, as well as songs from Zubeida, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Khamoshi.
 
Krishnamurti along with Abhijeet Ghosal, also sang ‘Koi Mil gaya’ from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. She concluded the concert with ‘I Love My India’ from the Subhash Ghai film Pardes.
