New singer Suparna Acharya gets break in RGV’s Rakta Charitra

MUMBAI: Ram Gopal Varma who had earlier discovered singer, Sunidhi Chauhan who became popular with Ruki Ruki in Urmila Matondkar starrer, Mast, will be bringing to light another singer Suparna Acharya, in Rakta Chritra. Varma is writing as well as directing Rakta Chritra with Vivek Oberoi in the main lead.

 

Born in Srirampur Hoogli District near Kolkatta, Acharya has acquired training from many gurus and also worked as a vocalist with renowned Pandit Birju Maharaj.

 

Acharya says, "My interest in singing was recognized by my family in my early childhood and since the age of 5 I have acquired classical singing training from various respected Guru’s. I have also done many stage shows to bring out my talent. Today after sharing platform with many renowned classical singers I want to explore my talent in film industry where music plays an essential part of the film. I firmly believe that no reality show can bring out true potential. My claim to fame will be my hard work and determination."
