MUMBAI: On the brink of the release of Yash Chopra’s Chak De! India, radio station 94.3 MY FM – Dil Se is all set to celebrate the spirit of hockey by organizing ‘Chak De’ hockey matches between teams from girls colleges on 9-10 August, across MY FM stations.
These will be different kind of matches, wherein every player of the team gets an opportunity to score a goal. Every player, who will be able to score a goal, will be awarded with the RAKSHAK hockey – the hockey used by Shahrukh Khan and the players in the movie and also used by all the national level players in real life. The winners will also be given tickets for the movie ‘Chak De India’.
94.3 MY FM – Dil Se business head Harrish M Bhatia said, “Hockey is our national game, and we are happy, especially when the match is coinciding with the release of the movie. On air and on ground promotions have already created a lot of buzz around the city and people are looking forward to attend the match.”
The radio station’s programming head Viplove Gupte adds, “Our channel is the voice of people in all the places where it is present. And our team is always enthusiastic towards not just entertaining the listeners but also promoting a cause, addressing issues or celebrating festive moods.”
