S.S. Rajamouli’s most anticipated film Baahubali’s recently released trailer has apparently been removed from YouTube due to breach of terms and agreement. The Telugu version of the trailer that released on July 1st crossed the mark of 1 million views within a day’s time setting a new record of its own. According to reports the removal of the trailer was on account of violation of the YouTube policies. And interestingly, film’s lead actor Prabhas‘ fans are being blamed for the same.
The Telugu version of Baahubali trailer was removed and reuploaded with few changes and new URL as the old video showed the message, “This video has been removed as a violation of YouTube’s policy against spam, scams, and commercially deceptive content.” The reason for such an adverse step is the unfair tactics adapted to generate artificial views which is strictly prohibited by broadcasting giant YouTube.
Fans of actor Prabhas are being blamed as few people believe over enthusiastic fans must have taken help of softwares to increase the video’s views compared to rival actor Mahesh Babu‘s film Srimanthudu‘s trailer. Mahesh Babu’s film Srimanthudu has singlehandedly managed to steal lot of Baahubali’s thunder away. Trailer of the film also touched the mark of 1 million views within a span of 48 hours.
Baahubali is said to be India’s biggest motion picture with the highest budget ever and a star studded cast of biggest names of southern film industry. Whereas Mahesh Babu‘s Srimanthudu looks promising solely because of the actor’s vast following and reputation. Baahubali‘s first part is set to release one week before Srimanthudu’s release on July 10. Mahesh Babu‘s Srimanthudu will hit theaters on July 17. Looks like the competition has already begun!
