Exciting news for all Suriya fans as they might soon get to see the hottest Kollywood actor romancing none other than actress Shruti Haasan herself. According to the latest buzz, Shruti is being eyed to play Suriya’s love interest in the third installment of the Singam series. Suriya and Shruti fans are in for a treat if the actress gives her nod for Singam 3.
Actress Shruti Haasan who has done numerous films in Kollywood has rose to fame in recent few years. Looking at her impressive growth chart it isn’t a surprise that the gorgeous lady is being eyed to play superstar Suriya’s leading lady. Shruti who was recently seen in Akshay Kumar’s Gabbar Is Back is currently busy with her prior work commitments.
Reportedly the film will be produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment who produced its prequel as well. The Singam series being one of Suriya’s highest grossing films, the anticipation has already increased. Director Hari who has nearly finalized the script will be giving actress Anushka Shetty a special role owing to her previous relationship with the Singam series. No official announcement about the final cast has yet been made.
Shruti Haasan and Suriya had previously shared the screen space in 2011’s fictional thriller film 7th Sense written by AR Murugadoss. Despite the film’s poor performance at box office, the pairing of Shruti and Suriya gained massive fan following. After a span of almost four years the duo’s comeback as an onscreen couple will surely be refreshing for the audiences.
Shruti will soon start working on her next Bollywood flick Welcome Back starring John Abraham and Anil Kapoor amongst others. She has worked in several Bollywood films like D-Day, Luck and Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji. Suriya’s film Masss will be releasing on May 29 and he has also bagged lead role in Vikram Kumar’s 24.
