[tps_footer]Suriya, who recently turned producer with Tamil action Singam 2, is set to go that extra mile to ensure his film Anjaan, clicks at the Box Office.
While he had strained to sport different looks in the film, the latest is, he will be singing a song in it as well. Suriya, will be recording the number, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, this week.
A source in the know reveals, “While Suriya had earlier sung a jingle for a coffee brand he endorses, this is the first time that he will be singing for a film. Yuvan has composed a breezy, peppy number and he will be recording it with Suriya latest by this week.”
Subhash Chandrabose, who is co-producing the film, says, “Suriya was immediately game for singing in the film when we told him the idea. He even started practicing the number. Once this song gets recorded, the entire album will be ready. We are planning to launch the music in a grand manner later this month.
Apart from Anjaan, Suriya is busy producing a children’s film. The film, untitled till now, will be directed by Pandiraj.
“I had narrated the story to Suriya a while ago. He instantly liked it and agreed to produce it. He felt these are the kind of films his children will enjoy the most. We’ve already started shooting,” stated the director Pandiraj.
