South India’s handsome hunk Suriya who is gearing up for the release of his film Masss was recently in the state of Kerala to promote the film. While opening up about a lot of things during the press meet, Suriya also talked about a possible collaboration with wife Jyothika who recently made her comeback with the film 36 Vayadhinile.
Suriya who has been a dear hubby promoting his wife’s film from his end thanked the people of Kerala for supporting Jyothika’s film, which was a remake of original Malayalam film How Old Are You? that marked actress Manju Warrier’s comeback as well. Reportedly Suriya mentioned that if the right script comes his way, he would be more than glad to appear on the silver screen once again with his lovely wife.
Now what’s interesting is that according to the latest buzz, a filmmaker in Kerala has already offered Suriya a script that will involve Jyothika as well. The Masss star loved the script and has asked for the final screenplay and if everything falls into place, the film might start rolling from next year! No confirmations regarding the same has been made yet so let’s not jump to conclusions, but it would definitely be a great day for all Suriya and Jyothika fans to see the real life couple on screen together once again!
Probably the most loved couple of Tamil industry, Suriya and Jyothika have worked together in several films including Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, Kaaka Kaaka, Poovellam Kettupar, Herova? Zerova?, Maayavi, Perazhagan and Uyirile Kalanthathu. The duo got hitched in September 2006 soon after which Jyothika bid goodbye to acting in 2007 and made a comeback this year. Suriya’s film Masss will be releasing on May 29 and he has also bagged lead role in Vikram Kumar’s 24.
