BREAKING: ‘Bigg Boss 7’ To Be Replaced By…



Bigg Boss 7 will have it’s Grand Finale on December 29, 2013. Post this Colors is ready to launch two dailies – one at the 9:00PM slot, and the other one at the 9:30PM slot.

The shows in question are, Beintehaa and Rangrasiya.

Beintehaa: The show is centered on Islam. It is a passionate love story and will be produced by Farhan Salaruddin’s Fortune Productions. The lading lady for the show is Amrita Rao’s younger sister Preetika Rao.

A film journalist by profession, Preetika had her own Bollywood column with South Side Movie Magazine in Chennai and in Banaglore, where she contributed to from Mumbai. During her stint as a columnist, Preetika has contributed to film articles in leading papers across Bangalore and Mumbai.

With this show, Preetika marks her debut on television. She made her debut in Tamil cinema in December 2010, with the romantic film, Chikku Bukku, with Arya and Shriya Saran. Beintehaa is currently shooting across the exotic locales in Bhopal.

Beintehaa premieres on December 29, 2013 at the 9:00PM slot.


The second show is Rangrasiya: Once again a love story, set in army background, is being produced by Nautanki Films. Ashish Sharma and Sanaya Irani play the main leads of this drama series. The show is tipped to be on the lines of Yash Chopra’s magnum opus Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

Rangrasiya premieres on December 29, 2013 at the 9:30PM slot.


Most of the recent launches on Colors have really not faired well except for Comedy Nights With Kapil. Colors is striving hard to maintain their number two position and faces stiff competition from Zee TV.

Bigg Boss 7 has really not given the required boost to the channel’s staggering TRPs.
