[tps_footer]Madhuri Dixit is doing all that it takes to promote her latest film Dedh Ishqiya. From Dance India Dance 4 to Bigg Boss 7 and now Comedy Nights With Kapil, Madhuri is now a pro when it comes to making promotional appearances.
Just before she started shoot for the episode Madhuri Dixit wrote on Twitter, “Time to get your funny bone tickled, at Comedy Nights with Kapil.” Kapil Sharma too was very excited to have Madhuri Dixit on his show and expressed the same on Twitter, “Today shooting with my all time favourite Madhuri Dixit.”
Huma Qureshi too accompanied Madhuri Dixit on Comedy Nights With Kapil. While Madhuri chose a purple and gold colour Indian outfit by Manish Malhotra, Huma was stylish in a printed shift dress and black pumps. Huma too should have donned an Indian ensemble, according to the author. She could have looked better. Remember the red anarkali she wore on Bigg Boss 7? Total, “paisa-vasool” that dress was!
On Comedy Nights With Kapil, Madhuri Dixit performed some of her classical dance moves from Dedh Ishqiya. Madhuri also expressed her desire to work with the superstar Amitabh Bachchan. The two were seen dancing together in Makhna in the 1998 film Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan along with Govinda. Madhuri feels that shaking a leg with megastar Amitabh Bachchan once was not enough and is very hopeful that someday she will get to act opposite him and is keeping her fingers crossed for that.
“There were nearly three films which we did together, but they never saw the light of the day. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe, something will work out,” said Madhuri Dixit.
Coming back to Dedh Ishqiya: Madhuri is paired opposite Naseeruddin Shah, while Huma Qureshi is paired opposite Arshad Warsi. The film is slated to release on January 10, 2014.
As we all know, Kapil Sharma is looking out for a new Gutthi, has been trying out different actors for the same. Gaurav Gera fell flat during the Saif Ali Khan episode, and now we will have Raju Srivastav make an entry trying to impress the viewers.
