He started with a show called ‘Comedy Night With Kapil’ but now the entire cast of the show has moved on to the ‘Kapil Sharma Show’. Everybody except Upasana Singh who plays ‘bua’ on the show has moved on with Kapil.
Upasana Singh stayed with the Comedy Nights Live team while everyone else moved out. However, the show will be incomplete without someone to essay the role that Upasana used to act out. To fill the void of the character played by Upasana Singh, Shilpa Shinde has been approached by the show runners.
Shilpa Shinde, better known as Angoori from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, recently had a fall out with the makers of the show. This show is again, a very widely known and enjoyed show. The Kapil Sharma Show needed one more female character to complete their cast. This is why it was reported that the production team of ‘The Kapil Show’ initiated talks with Shilpa.
Recently, Shilpa confirmed through a leading English Daily that she had been approached for the show. However, nothing has been finalized yet. She added that if things worked out, she will be doing the show. She also added that being part of the show would be a definite dream come true for her.
