The Kapil Sharma Show is returning to the small screens but Sunil Grover will not be a part of it!
Kapil Sharma is nowadays busy in promoting his next film Firangi. But his fans still want him to be back with his comedy show – The Kapil Sharma Show. And that also with Sunil Grover. The comedian has been asked upon several times as to when he is will be back with his show. He has answered all those questions by just saying ”very soon”.
And now there are reports that the show will be back on the television screens in the month of February, the next year. According to a report of Bollywood Hungama, Kapil and Sony Entertainment have planned a new avatar of the show. This is because the old format requires the presence of Sunil, who has clearly said that he is never coming back.
A source has been quoted in the report saying, ”The mid-flight row was leaked out by people close to Sunil. Kapil never spoke about it. Also, what was given out was a highly exaggerated and lopsided version of what happened. Still, Kapil made it very clear that Sunil was welcome back on the show whenever he wanted.”
The source added on saying, ”Sunil repeatedly turned down overtures from Kapil’s team for a reconciliation. He wanted to leverage the incident to establish a solo career.”
Talking about Salman Khan supporting Grover, the source said, ”When he got Salman Khan’s support, Sunil was convinced he was on the right track. Salman, for reasons best known to him, boycotted Kapil’s show to promote Tubelight, and preferred to do an hour-long special with Sunil. But that show didn’t win the audience! Nothing more has been heard about Grover’s career since then.”
Kapil Sharma’s film Firangi also stars Ishita Dutta, who got married to actor Vatsal Seth yesterday.
