Krushna Abhishek’s comedy show The Drama Company has completely failed to impress the audience!
After The Kapil Sharma Show went off-air, Sony TV decided to come up with another comedy show. And that also with Kapil’s rival, Krushna Abhishek. But sadly, The Drama Company failed to impress the audience. The show never gained popularity amongst the people and hence never got good TRPs.
And that is the reason why the makers of the show have now decided to pull it off-air. In its place, another historical drama called Prithvi Vallabh will be aired. The show will star Ashish Sharma and Sonarika Bhadoria.
Ashish is a popular name in the television industry. And has worked in some of the renowned shows like Chandragupta Maurya and Siya Ke Ram. Talking about Sonarika Bhadoria, she was last seen in the mythological series, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev with Mohit Raina. It will be a refreshing jodi for the audience as Ashish and Sonarika will team up for the first time.

Earlier also, the channel has tried to gain TRPs with the help of historical dramas like Peshwa Bajirao and Porus. Peshwa Bajirao also had be called off due to poor TRPs. And the ongoing series Porus has also not been able to gain good TRPs. Although it has received good reviews from the audience. It is also one of the most expensive shows of India.
The show will have to battle with some of the already established ones like Bigg Boss 11 and Dance Champions. It will be interesting to see if Prithvi Vallabh is able to give the channel the required TRPs!
