People are pretty confused about where his loyalties lay but it seems Aamir is unfazed about it. That’s because for him the show is bigger and needs maximum traction. What better than to take the help of the social media platform for promotion? So Aamir will release the first promo of Satyamev Jayate season 3 on Twitter.
It isn’t new for stars to turn to social media for promotional help. Shah Rukh Khan used Whats App to make the first theatrical trailer of Happy New Year to reach every corner of the world. Just a missed call and the trailer were played for the user on his phone, perhaps the best way to use the application.
But then the trailer won’t be released on his account, but on the show’s official account. Well, as long as it reaches to everyone, Aamir won’t really care. But Satyamev Jayate’s real target audience is not necessarily the twitter users but the people who belong to small centres who don’t have access to Twitter. We wonder that will affect them!
