The news about secret mobile phones in changing rooms is a staple these days, recently a popular TV actress fell victim to this kind of incident. The 49 year old actress spotted a purposely hidden mobile phone in the changing room. The possible reason for such placement of mobile phones is secret recording.
The mobile phone was found by the actress while she was in the changing room; the cell was located beneath the makeup table for the intention of illegal recording. The unaware actress located the phone in a dustbin and then asked the crew members whether someone had misplaced their phone, however on checking the phone the actress realized that it was on recording mode and that her own video was also present. On witnessing the heinous act, the TV star then investigated the crew and found out that the cell belonged to costume assistant Abdul Qayyum Ansari.
According to reports, the actress saw the videos and in one of them she witnessed that Ansari was seen placing the mobile phone under the makeup table, the actress then confronted Ansari about the same and he confessed. The accused also pleaded the actress to not file a police complaint, and has also issued an apology letter to the production manager of the TV show.
The accused was arrested and was later released on bail. The actress has also filed the complaint at the artist’s association. With all the proofs, the actress approached the police officials and cited that she feared the misuse of the footages recorded. The case has been filed against the accused Abdul Qayyum Ansari under Section 354(C) of the IPC.
