Team Ek Villain is doing all that they can to promote their film that’s up for release on June 27, 2014. Both Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra has visited practically every reality show and were also snapped on location with the entire team of CID.
Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra shot an episode for detective television series CID, as part of a promotional activity for Ek Villain.
Sidharth and Shraddha pn screen chemistry have been the talk of the town, with the trailer launch of the movie. Both Malhotra and Kapoor are expecting another hit after their previous successful movies.
This Friday, June 27, 2014, will see the release of the most anticipated movie of the month, Ek Villain.
It stars Sidharth Malhotra and Shradhha Kapoor and is directed by Mohit Suri. This is first big release for Shraddha Kapoor after the stupendous success of Suri directed Aashiqui 2. It is also the first time that Reteish Deshmukh will be seen in a character with grey shades.
Music and songs of Ek Villain are already a huge hit. After the success of Aashiqui 2, music director Mithoon is back with some more soulful songs, with songs like Teri Galiyaan and Banjaara ruling the lists.
Pakistani band Soch was roped in by the music director for the song Awari in the movie. Singers like Ankit Tiwari, Arijit Singh, Mohammad Irfan, Mustafa Zahid and Adnan Dhool have lent their voice to the album.
Sidharth Malhotra when questioned why did he agree to do a dark film, he immediately replied, “I did Ek Villain because of director Mohit Suri. Had this script involved a new director, I would not have gone for the film. I think Mohit was the right choice for the film. I was so excited because there was so much to do and I am very happy with the way the film has shaped up.”
Speaking about her character in Ek Villain, Shraddha Kapoor stated, “Aisha is the name of my character. She is full of life, happy girl who is always ready to help people. She wants everyone to laugh and be happy.”
Every actor in Ek Villain has gone against his/her conventional image to don a brand new avatar for the film. Sidharth Malhotra (Guru) makes the transition from the quintessential lover boy to an angry young man, Riteish Deshmukh (Rakesh), from an ace comic actor to a disgruntled middle-class commoner and Shraddha Kapoor (Aisha), from a sweet romantic to a layered, emotional pixie girl.

Ek Villain speaks of a love that wasn’t meant to be. The sweet girl next door with fire in her heart and an angry young man hell bent on setting the world on fire. This is an unconventional musical romance born out of angst.
The trailer of the movie has created excitement among the viewers. The team of Ek Villain is claiming that there are no heroes in the movie and all are villains. With this, the thrill element in the mind of the viewers is at its peak. The movie is inspired from the Korean movie I Saw the Devil.
