MUMBAI: There were some hits, but a lot of misses when it came to Bollywood’s leading men and their (failed) style statements this week…

Ranveer Singh: Repeat style offender Ranveer Singh gave us a double whammy of unfashionable looks. At an airport sighting, the ‘Lootera’ star shocked with a black YOLO tee and black leather jacket. This is one look we wish he’d left to American rappers, and not tried for himself!

On another occasion, Ranveer was seen in a blue printed tee, long chains, a printed hat, and oversized glasses (perhaps borrowing them from his co-star Sonakshi Sinha, who’s been sporting this look off late). In a word: FLOP!

Ranbir Kapoor: the usually sartorially forward RK was seen in a dishevelled, dirty, scruffy avatar in a crumpled white shirt (cleavage revealing, no less) and baggy pants on sets of Abhinav Kashyap’s ‘Besharam’. Now, we know it’s just for a film shoot, but it wouldn’t hurt to see the hunky Bunny of ‘YJHD’ on screen once again

Shahid Kapoor: Shahid has been missing in action in Bollywood for some time, and perhaps has forgotten the rules of the game. At the airport, en route to Macau for the IIFA awards, Shahid looked out of place in a graphic tee, baggy grey jeans a mustard yellow leather jacket. What didn’t help either was his tan sunglasses. We no like, Mr. Kapoor.

Vikramaditya Motwane: Now, we usually don’t mind the creative types slipping by in grungy clothes. However, the director of ‘Lootera’ was seen in a boring, plain tee and jeans at his own film’s special screening earlier this week, and we found that unacceptable.
