It sure seems that Mahatma Gandhi’s favourite devotional song ‘Raghupati Raghav’ is the latest flavour of the season in Bollywood.
After Prakash Jha adapted it in his socio-political film ‘Satyagraha’, it is now the turn of filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, whose son Hrithik Roshan has given it a new, edgy, modern twist!
Hrithik is one of the best dancers in Bollywood, and in the latest song he seems to have upped the ante as far as his groovy moves are concerned. Clad in a preppy white shirt, black jeans and red skinny tie, the Bollywood hunk, in a mere 16 seconds, displays a myriad of dance forms!
Stepping up the tempo and pushing the envelope has always been the perfectionist Hrithik Roshan’s preferred style. This time too, Hrithik has left no stone unturned in ensuring ‘Raghupati Raghav’ generates top recall in the audiences’ minds.
Composed by music duo Salim-Sulaiman, and sung by Neeraj Shridhar and Monali Thakur, the song itself will create a huge buzz when it releases.
