[tps_footer]The official trailer of The Xpose starring Irrfan Khan, Himesh Reshammiya and Yo Yo Honey Singh is out and one is very upset and disappointed with what one got to see.
From the sets, to the look of The Xpose is a direct lift from the Hollywood film The Great Gatsby, something that puts you to shame.
The Xpose is set in the 1960’s, very la Om Shanti Om, where the life of stars was larger than life. One can see desperation of Himesh Reshammiya to pack drama, romance, music and thriller all in The Xpose. Apart from Irrfan Khan, Himesh Reshammiya and Yo Yo Honey Singh, the film features Zoya Afroz, Sonali Raut and Adil Hussain.
The Xpose trailer starts with Sonali Raut offering a prayer, a scene that a direct lift from the film Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Now before you get out of this shock we get to see fireworks in the sky, women gyrating at decadent parties and the men sipping drinks wearing sharp suits and bow ties.
TAKE A LOOK AT THE TRAILER:
The Xpose, Exposes the acting talent of Yo Yo Honey Singh, Exposes a slim and trim Himesh Reshammiya and last but not the least it Exposes some terrible dialogues which do not suite Himesh at all.
The Xpose is a retro murder mystery that revolves around two superstars played by Himesh Reshammiya and Yo Yo Honey Singh after they are embroiled in the murder investigation of a sex symbol. Wow that’s so cool and refreshing.
Though The Xpose, directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, has so much in it, the trailer will leave you completely confused trying very hard to be a blockbuster but at the end of it just disappoints you at all levels; be it casting or acting or even music.
The Xpose is set to release on May 23, 2014, the day I am dreading.
