Amitabh Bachchan: I Feel Envious Not Being A Part Of Baahubali

Amitabh-BachchanIndia’s biggest motion picture with the most costliest budget ever, S.S Rajamouli‘s Baahubali has been creating waves of anticipation and the recent one to be awestruck by the grandeur is none other than Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.

The video released by Dharma Productions sees a video conversation happening between Bachchan and Baahubali star Rana Daggubati where Amitabh Bachchan watched the trailer of Baahubali before it was initially released. The legendary actor was simply awestruck by the grandness of the film and expressed how he wished he was a part of it!

Amitabh Bachchan started off by saying, “So Rana I feel very privileged to have seen this first look that you’ve just shown me of Baahubali. And I’m absolutely amazed and astonished at how you have been able to recreate this magnificent visual and I’m sure the story is equally good. You’re working with Rajamouli who is such a renowned talent. How did you conceive something like this it’s just unimaginable.”

Rana Daggubati added his insight stating that the film was shot over a period of 400 days and the climax war of the film alone was shot in around 120 days in all. To which Big B states, “My God this is unbelievable, I feel so small in front of something like this because it’s a great effort, I doubt if anything like this has been seen in Indian cinema before. I hope millions of people can see the effort that has been made because it is truly quite unimaginable. I mean we normally see these kind of structure, the action and the framework in progressive Hollywood films. But seeing this here in India, shot in Hyderabad is amazing. I feel very honoured to be a part of a film industry that is inventing and making such fantastic material.”

Big B who is an idealistic actor conveyed his best wishes to the entire team of Baahubali, “All the very best, this is an incredible effort and I have never seen anything like this before. Gosh now I feel like I should have been in this project also! (chuckles) Every time I see something astonishing I feel very envious and I wish I was a part of it. Many congratulations to you, to Rajamouli and everyone who is connected with this film. This looks absolutely amazing and I’m sure it will do extremely well in the days to come.”

Baahubali is said to be the most expensive film to be ever produced in the history of Indian cinema. Star cast of the film boasts of a very impressive lineup including actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati who will be seen playing the role of Baahubali and Bhallala Deva.Baahubali will also see actors Anushka Shetty as Devasena, Tamannaah as Avantika, Sudeep as Aslam Khan, Sathyaraj as Kattappa, Nassar as Bijjala Deva, Ramya Krishnan as Sivagami and Prabhakar as Kalakeya amongst other cast of the film.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film has been produced by K. Raghavendra Rao, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. Arka Media Works is the Production Company and distributers of Baahubali. National Award winners V. Srinivas Mohan and Sabu Cyril have supervised the amazing visual effects and designed art of the film respectively. The film is set to release in four different languages namely Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. First half of the film will come out on July 10. Get ready to witness greatness on screen!
