Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan‘s father and noted scriptwriter Salim Khan today launched the Urdu version of BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi‘s official website.
Khan launched the website – www.narendramodi.in – from his residence in suburban Bandra, with BJP leader Shaina NC. While launching the website to which he would regularly contribute with his pieces, Khan said that he was an admirer of Modi, but will vote for the Congress.
On this occasion, Salim Khan told media persons that he had proposed Modi to start a website in Urdu to reach not only the Muslims but also others like Punjabi and Kayasthas. Salim Khan said he would also contribute to this website.
Salim Khan said he has voted for Congress in past, but he is disappointed with Congress on certain issues, but if Congress fields good candidate he would again vote for Congress. He said no political party is completely secular at present.
“I have friends in BJP, Shiv Sena as well. I have been offered ticket to contest elections but I am not interested in this,” he said.
