UTV-Disney And Balaji Films Hand Over Music Rights To Zee Music Company

Zee-Music-companyThe music rights of two giant production houses, UTV-Disney and Balaji Motion Pictures have been handed over to Zee Music Company for the year 2015-16. With an impressive list of several big budget upcoming films and over 30 more projects soon to be announced, Zee Music is in for serious business this year.

ZMC will be releasing the music for this year’s most anticipated films including Disney’s ABCD 2, UTV’s Fitoor and Katti Batti and Flying Jatt, Kya Super Cool Hai Hum 3 by Balaji Motion Pictures. Other than those films like Gabbar Is Back, Piku and Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, which released recently have been covered under Zee’s banner. Bombay Velvet, Ishqedarriyaan, Tina and Lolo and Jazbaa are some of the other films slated to release in upcoming months. Zee Music Company will be launching all of their music and taking care of this year’s operations.

Zee Music Company’s head Anurag Bedi stated, that the company is elated to be associated with two of the finest studios, UTV Disney and Balaji Motion Pictures, who have consistently delivered successful movies and music over the years.

Balaji Motion Pictures group’s CEO Sameer Nair added by saying that music is a key driver for audiences across, and as a studio they believe this creative synergy with Zee Music will be productive. Disney India VP and head of marketing and distribution studios Amrita Pandey spoke on behalf of both the production houses (UTV-Disney) expressing their enthusiasm of being associated with Zee Music and stated they are looking forward to an enthralling journey with the company.
