S.S. Rajamouli's Answer To Madhuri Dixit In Baahubali 2

‘Baahubali’ hitmaker S.S. Rajamouli has finally opened up about the ongoing speculations of Madhuri Dixit’s involvement in ‘Baahubali 2′. The director was mildly amused about the bizarre rumours, and openly revealed that no new additions have in fact been made to the film’s cast yet. The directed stated that he has no idea how the news spread, and that all of it was made up. Well sad news for all who were quite excited about seeing a Bollywood face in the film’s franchise.

Earlier it was being speculated that Bollywood’s dancing queen Madhuri Dixit is being considered for a role in the film’s sequel. According to sources, it was Karan Johar, who has partnered up with team Baahubali for the film’s Hindi distribution, that talked to Rajamouli for casting faces from Bollywood in ‘Baahubali 2′. Apparently Madhuri Dixit was being considered to play the role of actress Anushka Shetty’s sister, a queen of Kunthala dynasty in the film.

But Rajamouli denied all the above stated speculations by simply stating, “There is no Madhuri Dixit in Baahubali 2.” Well it will definitely be interesting to see what the new addition to the cast are since Baahubali as a film is in a separate league altogether. After the mind blowing performance of the film’s first part that released on July 10, ‘Baahubali 2′ will soon start rolling and is expected to be released around June-July 2016.

Directed by S.S. Rajamouli, ‘Baahubali 2′ has been produced by K. RaghavendraRao, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. Star cast of the film boasts of an impressive lineup including actors Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Sudeep, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Ramya Krishnan and Prabhakar. It is also being said that Suriya and Shreya are being counted in for cameos. After the Madhuri false alarm, we wonder how much truth there is in this talk?
