MUMBAI: Actor Aamir Khan shot with director Anurag Kashyap recently for a Samsung commercial. This is the first time that the two talents have come together for a project.
The Samsung TVC will be aired during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 3 matches, so in that sense one can say that Aamir has finally joined the IPL bandwagon!
Aamir has so far stayed away from the IPL circuit. Abhishek Bachchan is busy promoting the oongli cricket ad by Idea cellular network whereas Akshay Kumar is announcing the new range of LED TVs from LG and also endorsing a mobile phone brand. On the other hand, Salman Khan is wooing Nauhid Cyrusi in the latest commercial of Wheel detergents, all of which are aired during the matches.
IPL owners, Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty too are all over the small screen promoting the various brands that have been roped in to sponsor their teams.
Aamir who was sorely missing out from the action will finally be seen in Samsung mobiles TVC.
