MUMBAI: Filmmaker Anil Sharma is planning to direct another film, starring the Deols once again.
Sharma, whose Apne, starring three Deols, Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby Deol, releases 29 June 2007, says, “It was always a pleasure working with them. I share a good rapport with Dharmendra and his sons. I would surely like to work with them once again.”
Sources say the good reports Apne is generating has inspired Sharma to start with a similar film. He has asked Neeraj Pathak to work out a good script featuring them once again, it is learnt.
Anil Sharma, who shares good relations with the Deols, has directed Dharmendra in Hukumat, Elaan-E-Jung, Farishtey and Tehelka. The first two were box-office grossers. In 2001, with Sunny Deol in Gadar – Ek Prem Katha, he struck a pot of gold, followed by The Hero – Love Story Of A Spy. The younger Deol, Bobby Deol featured in Ab – Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyon, in 2005.
