MUMBAI: It’s been almost ten years that one saw the sweet Preity Zinta and macho-man Sunny Deol together in ‘The Hero: Love Story of a Spy’. Ten years later the actor-jodi is making a comeback together in ‘Bhaiyyaji Superhit’.
Preity Zinta’s last release ‘Ishkq In Paris’ didn’t work at the box-office but that hasn’t dimmed her spirits from accepting new roles.
Sunny Deol too hasn’t had a successful run at the box-office with ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’ bombing at the box-office. The actor will also be seen in ‘Singh Saab The Great’ to be directed by his friend and ‘Gadar’ director Anil Sharma.
With the jodi coming back together after ten years, all eyes will be on Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta as both set to revive their respective careers with ‘Bhaiyyaji Superhit’.
‘Bhaiyyaji Superhit’ directed by Neeraj Pathak has been a delayed affair. The film had been stuck due to financial issues. Also the film has been in the news for wrong reasons ever since the first look was unveiled. Sunny Deol’s look bearing a resemblance to Hollywood star Johnny Depp was the talk of the town.
“The film will begin its next schedule at Udaipur with Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta and the plan is to wrap the film in next two months,” says a source.
With Preity Zinta and Sunny Deol, both eyeing a Superhit for a long time lets hope ‘Bhaiyyaji Superhit’ stays true to its name.
