MUMBAI: Film producer and director K C Bokadia is considering a change in name of his company from K C Bokadia Films Ltd to Asian Films Production and Distribution Ltd.
The change in name is subject to approval of the Central Government in accordance with section 21 of the Company Act, 1956, subject to necessary provisions and approvals.
K C Bokadia Films Ltd is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The company’s shares opened today at Rs 1.99 and closed at Rs 2.
Bokadia is currently producing and directing a movie titled Bekasoor starring Priyanka Chopra, Govinda, Johnny Lever, Shakti Kapoor, Kader Khan and Prem Chopra. His last film was the Shah Rukh Khan – Salman Khan – Madhuri Dixit starrer Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam.
