MUMBAI: Ferrari Ki Sawaari has taken a dull start at the box office on its opening day . Despite the bold statements made by its producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra on huge box office collections for Ferrari Ki Sawaari or the Vidya Balan Item number, the film has had a poor opening on its first day.
The opening was as low as twenty percent. The film is directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, a long time assistant to Rajkumar Hirani. The film saw better collections in multiplexes than in single screens and saturday will decide how the movie will fare at the box office.
Considering the huge price that Eros International has paid for the film it looks difficult for the film to recover its costs.
