MUMBAI: Director Tanuja Chandra’s two films – Zindaggi Rocks and Hope and a little Sugar will be premiered simultaneously in Mumbai and the US respectively.
Zindaggi Rocks, starring Sushmita Sen and Shiney Ahuja, will premiere in Mumbai and Chandra’s English film Hope and a little Sugar will premiere at the South Asian Film Festival in the US on 6 October. The latter is about a Muslim – Sikh love story set in the backdrop of 9/11.
“I will be here for Zindaggi Rocks’ premiere and will fly immediately for the premiere of Hope and a Little Sugar in the South Asian Film Festival. I’m glad that both my films are getting a grand opening and I hope that the audiences appreciate my efforts,” says Chandra.
