MUMBAI: Come 30 September and CNN-IBN and IBN7 will be launching a new celebrity chat show.

This 30 minute weekend show will be aired on CNN-IBN at 9.30 pm and has been named Catch the Star; while on IBN7 it will be aired at 7:30 pm and is called Superstar.

Every episode will feature a celebrity in conversation with host Rajeev Masand. The first episode of the series will feature John Abraham on 30 September.

With the festival season round the corner, CNN-IBN has lined up special programming for their Indian viewers. As apart of the Dussehra programming, the channel will present Ram Lila Trail on October 1 at 9:30 pm.

What’s more, with the Lage Raho Munnabhai fever still on, the channel will also have a special show as a run-up to the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 2 October. A half hour special show will talk about the new age Mahatma on CNN-IBN at 11:30 am and on IBN 7 at 7:30 pm.

Also, on 30 September, Rajdeep Sardesai will host The Verdict at 8 pm on CNN-IBN, wherein he will discuss — ‘Munnabhai shows a way; can Gandhigiri work in real life?’
