Mumbai: Vikram Tuli and Ajay Tuli cousins of Kumar Gaurav tied up with Adlabs and Prime Focus to produce a bouquet of six films. Collectively the budget for these projects is worked somewhere around Rs. 600 million. Ajay Tuli will look after the production. While the other brother, Vikram Tuli will be directing two films.
Vikram Tuli has confirmed the association. “Together we have planned to make six films within two years time span. I will be directing two of them while the others will be directed by outside directors,” conveys Vikram Tuli. Meanwhile, E. Niwas and Deepak Tijori will direct one film each. The scripting of the film and other minor details are under process.
Manmohan Shetty of Adlabs refused to shed more light. “It is a ripe stage to talk anything about the association or the projects. When the deal is inked, the media will be informed about the proceedings.
The association will see the restoration of Dimple Films founded by Late Naresh Kumar and brother of yesteryears hero-producer Rajendra Kumar. Naresh Kumar had produced, directed and written hits namely like Gopichand Jasoos (1982), Sone Ka Dil Lohe Ke Haath (1978), Mama Bhanja (1977), Mazdoor Zindabaad (1976), Do Jasoos (1975), Gaon Hamara Shaher Tumhara (1972), Gora Aur Kala (1972), Tangewala (1972), Ek Paheli (1971), Ganwaar (1970), Aag … aka Fire (1967), Husn Aur Ishq (1966) and Ek Sapera Ek Lutera (1965).
