MUMBAI: Disney Channel is showcasing one of India’s most popular story collections– Karadi Tales as a new series. Launched this week on Disney Channel, Karadi Tales will be showcased on Disney Channel from Monday to Friday at 9.30 am.
Walt Disney Television International India associate director programming Devika Prabhu said, "Storytelling is the cornerstone of Disney’s content strategy. It is our way of connecting an entirely new generation of kids and families to India’s rich cultural and storytelling heritage."
The show will combine stylized animation to bring alive Indian tales that have enthralled kids for generations. The show will feature Naseeruddin Shah, Girish Karnad, Saeed Jaffrey and other celebrated artists as voice cast, coupled with background score created by 3 Brothers & A Violin.
Karadi Tales products have won worldwide critical acclaim and several awards including NAPPA (National Association of Parenting Publications Award, USA), White Ravens Award (Germany), Dr. Toy Award (USA) and IBBY (International Board on Books for Young People, Switzerland).
