MUMBAI: HBO will air a superhero series this March, featuring a blockbuster movie every Thursday evening.

The $ 411 million grossing box office hit Batman Begins will make its Indian TV premiere on HBO’s Blockbuster of the Month on 9 March at 9 pm.

Michael Keaton dons the cape in Batman on 1 March, while Hellboy, the unlikely comic book hero, will descend on HBO on 8 March.
 
The supernatural world of Blade (Wesley Snipes) in Blade Trinity will unfold on the channel on 15 March, while Shark Boy and the Lava Girl will make its debut on the small screen on 22 March. Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed will be aired on 29 March.
 
The channel will commence airing new premieres at 9 pm on Saturdays, beginning with Duma, the tale of an unbreakable bond between a cheetah named Duma and a young boy named Xan, which will be aired on 3 March. Around The Bend will be aired on 10 March, Descent on 17 March, The New World on 24 March and Broken Flowers on 31 March.

The channel will also celebrate Holi with HBO Holi Hugs, a package of adventure, thrill, excitement and comedy, every Saturday after the 9 pm movie. In the Sunday Super Hits band at 8 pm, HBO will air Big Fish on 4 March, Wolf on 11 March, Cellular on 18 March and Lethal Weapon 3 on 25 March.
