dorMumbai: After Corporate, Sahara One Motion Pictures is all set to release Nagesh Kukunoor’s Dor. The film stars Ayesha Takia, Gul Panag, Shreyas Talpade, Girish Karnad and Pratiksha Lonkar and is scheduled to release on 22 September with maximum number of prints.
“Dor is my most challenging and dramatic film till date, be it the locales, cinematography or music. The film canvases the journey of two women from different worlds and depicts how they come together through a tryst of destiny. Dor is a story about love, loss, friendship, hope and ultimately redemption,” says Kukunoor.
Sahara One Media and Entertainment Ltd. chief executive officer Shantonu Aditya adds, “We all look forward to Nagesh Kukunoor’s films mainly because the subject and content is so out of the ordinary and captivating. One may not have anything to do with it but we all still immediately connect to it. And after Iqbal, we wanted to work with this talented director.”
Universal Music Group will be distributing the music of this Rs 50 million (Rs 5 crore) movie. The film is produced in association with Sic Production and has Percept Picture Company as executive producer.
