MUMBAI: Post marriage, Karisma Kapur has been waiting for a good script to make her comeback in Bollywood. The actress will be staging her comeback in Onir’s next film. Speaking to Businessofcinema.com Onir says, “Yes, Karisma will be acting in my next film titled You & I. The film would be a romantic story set in an adventure camp in today’s time. Sanjay Suri plays her love interest in the film.â€ÂÂ
Further, explaining about how he approached Karisma and her role in the film, Onir says, “I approached Karisma for You & I much before I started making Bas Ek Pal. In You & I, Karisma plays the role of an independent girl who is looking to resolve her identity. It is a matured but witty character. However, by witty I don’t mean slapstick comedy.â€ÂÂ
Other actors that Onir is looking signing for the film are Boman Irani and Juhi Chawla.
Onir will be producing the film. “I plan to produce You & I myself so that I get the liberty to market and distribute the film I desired. The script is ready and I plan to start shooting by March next year,†he says.
