Zoya Akhtar is making a documentary which is titled ‘Shiela Ki Jawaani’ with a view to observe the 100 years of Indian Film Industry. The thought process behind the choice of this title is that Zoya feels that this song is the perfect example to describe the glamour struck industry. The idea is also to cash in on the popularity of the song, which was a huge hit.

The documentary will narrate the story of a boy, who is an ardent fan of the item number and dreams of meeting Sheila in reality. To be shot in Mumbai, the film will explore people’s fascination for Bollywood films and stars. Katrina confirmed to a daily, "Yes, I am part of the documentary."

In the documentary, actual footage of the song maybe showcased, and some new shooting may also be done on the original song.
