MUMBAI: Actor Madhuri Dixit, who has come back to acting after a gap of five years, has completed shooting for Yash Chopra’s Aaja Nachle.
The film is directed by debutante Anil Mehta and co-stars Konkona Sen Sharma with Akshay Kumar in a special appearance. There are few newcomers and children too in the film.
A source close to the actor and the production house reveals, “The film is a musical dance extravaganza. At her age (she touched 40 on 15 May 2007) and being the mother of two children, she will prove once again that she can act and dance pretty well. The entire shooting of the film has been completed with three fourths of the film being shot in Yashraj Studios. She has completed all her work and will be leaving for the States this week. This is the only film she is doing and has not signed any other film.”
Rikku Rakeshnath, Dixit’s business manager says, “There were many offers but she has not decided on them. She will be leaving for the United States after 26 May.”
