MUMBAI: After working with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal in Phir Hera Pheri, director Priyadarshan has been waiting to bring the hit team together. Now, nine years after Priyadarshan made that laugh-a-riot Hera Pheri in 2000, he’s managed to pull it off for Venus’ De Dana Dan.
There were so many factors that were coming between the casting of the foursome. Kumar, has turned into a superstar. Priyadarshan is one of the busiest directors of the industry making one film after the other. And, Shetty and Kumar, were reportedly having a tiff because Shetty withdrew himself from Singh Is Kinng in the last minute.
But now all is well and Priyan has managed to bring this casting coup in his yet another comedy film De Dana Dan. Audiences will see the hit pair again when the film releases on 27 November 2009.
