MUMBAI: PVR Pictures has appointed Deepak Sharma as its worldwide head of distribution.
Sharma steps into the shoes of PVR Pictures head distribution (all India) Gaurav Verma who has quit the organisation.
In his last role, Deepak Sharma was executive vice president and director with Zee Entertainment Enterprises where he was overseeing the film production and distribution verticals along with all the related lines of business.
PVR managing director Ajay Bijli said, "We are operating in an increasingly competitive and dynamic environment, the road ahead is going to be very demanding and exciting! Deepak’s experience in the industry will add impetus to our all round aggressive distribution plans for PVR Pictures in the coming years."
