MUMBAI: Director – producer, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s film, Mad Madder Maddest, which is directed by debutant Mrighdeep Lambha is ninety percent complete.
The film is co-produced by Bharati and Rajiv Tandon in association with PVR.
Mad, Madder, Maddest as the name suggests, is a comedy. It’s about three brothers, played by Om Puri, Shreyas Talpade and Deepak Dobriyal.
The cast and crew are presently shooting in Amritsar, Punjab. Besides Punjab, the film has also been shot in Gulmargh.
Mehra, who is at Wharton attending the 14th Wharton India Economic Forum, was unavailable for comment. However, Businessofcinema.com spoke to Mehra’s wife and editor Bharati who was on location. "Yes we are shooting in Amritsar and we should be wrapping up shoot soon," she said.
Rajiv Tandon added, "The film is ninety percent complete and we have around seven more days of shoot left after which the film is complete. Prior to this we were shooting in Gulmargh for around forty days."
According to Tandon, the film should release either in August or November this year.
